  • Create, maintain, and verify your account and collegiate credentials.
  • Personalize learning paths, calculate career readiness scores, and identify specific skill gaps via AI.
  • Send transactional OTPs, updates, placement alerts, and direct referral opportunities.

  • With Recruiter Partners: Sharing your academic profile, assessment scores, and resume details with potential employers only after you explicitly apply or request matching opportunities.
  • With Academic Institutions: Sharing student assessment progression and readiness reports with verified administrators and placement cell coordinators of your respective college.
  • With Trust Providers: Exchanging data with secure infrastructure service providers (e.g. cloud host, payment gateway) solely to operate platforms.
  • Legal Mandates: To comply with applicable laws, government audits, court requests, or to safeguard safety, rights, and prevent legal liabilities.

5. Data Retention & Storage

Your personal data is securely stored within our databases. We host our database systems on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard physical, electronic, and administrative security controls. We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide services to you or comply with statutory retention limits. Passwords and access credentials are hash-encrypted using bcrypt.

By creating an account, you consent to receive email communications from Way2Better. We send only necessary service communications and allow users to manage marketing communication preferences:

  • Communication Policy: We separate outgoing communications into strictly Transactional and Informational emails. Transactional emails (e.g., OTP, Verification, Password Reset, Billing Receipts) cannot be disabled.
  • Preferences Center: You can manage notifications and disable informational communications (e.g., newsletters, alerts) at any time under your Dashboard Settings -> Notifications page.

8. Third-Party Integrations

We share information with trusted third-party service providers only to perform critical infrastructure operations:

  • Secure Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure: Used for secure cloud hosting, asset storage, and transaction logs.
  • Razorpay: Used as our payment processor to securely handle subscription and transaction billing.
  • Google Fonts / CDN Services: Used to render web assets and icons efficiently.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to analyze web traffic, remember user login states, save custom user preferences, and compile performance metrics. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If you wish to delete your account or wipe your history, you may initiate an account deletion request by navigating to your Dashboard Settings or contacting our Data Privacy Officer at privacy@way2better.com. Upon receipt, all stored personal details will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
