1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Way2Better Career Intelligence Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Way2Better Technologies Pvt Ltd.

2. Our Services

Way2Better is a digital SaaS platform providing career planning tools and institutional analytics. The services offered include:

  • AI Career Intelligence: Assessment workflows identifying core strengths and recommendations.
  • Resume & Portfolio Builders: Tools for students to draft resumes and compile verified achievements.
  • Skill Gap Heatmaps: Personalized dashboards pinpointing skill criteria requested by recruiters.
  • Internship & Placement Discovery: Algorithmic alerts connecting matching candidates with enterprise opportunities.
  • Institutional Dashboards: Unified administrative command centers to track student competency trends.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and maintain its security. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of Way2Better require a paid subscription. By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to our billing conditions:

  • Billing Cycle & Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring cycle (monthly or annually) and auto-renew unless you disable auto-renewal prior to the billing date.
  • Payment Processors: All billing cycles are handled securely via PCI-DSS compliant third-party integrations (Razorpay). We do not store raw card numbers.
  • Taxes: Fees are exclusive of applicable statutory taxes (such as GST), which will be charged at checkout.
  • Cancellations & Tier Changes: You can cancel your subscription or modify your tier (upgrade/downgrade) anytime via Dashboard Account Settings. Changes apply to the next billing cycle.

5. User Content & Licensing

You may upload materials to the platform, including resumes, credentials, certificates, projects, and profile photos ("User Content").

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership and copyright of all User Content you upload to Way2Better.
  • License Grant: You grant Way2Better a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, host, replicate, and display your User Content solely to provide services (such as displaying profiles to verified recruiters).

6. User Responsibilities & Conduct

As a user of the platform, you agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information regarding your identity, education, or employment history.
  • Utilize the platform to distribute unsolicited communications, bulk emails, or spam.
  • Circumvent or attempt to disable any system security controls, rate limiting restrictions, or authentication layers.

7. College Administrator Guidelines

Authorized college and university administrators using our institutional dashboard are subject to strict anti-abuse rules:

  • Consented Onboarding: Administrators may only invite students, faculty, or staff members who have given prior academic or administrative consent to be onboarded.
  • Abuse Prevention: Invitation limits may be applied to protect the platform from misuse. Roster logs are audited.
  • Delivery Integrity: The institution is responsible for maintaining directory accuracy. Excessive bounce rates or spam complaints caused by roster uploads may result in immediate suspension of invitation privileges.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We define termination procedures as follows:

  • By the Company: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately if you violate platform guidelines or fail subscription billings.
  • By the User: You can close your account at any time. Upon termination, active subscriptions are cancelled and future renewals are terminated. Historical data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

The Way2Better platform, logo, trademarks, software code, UI designs, AI models, documentation, databases, and branding assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Way2Better Technologies Pvt Ltd, protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

10. AI Disclaimer

Way2Better utilizes machine learning and generative artificial intelligence to deliver readiness recommendations, score competencies, and analyze skill gaps. All AI-generated recommendations are intended to assist users and should not be considered professional, educational, legal, or employment advice. Users should exercise their own judgment before making career or academic decisions.

11. Service Availability & Scheduled Downtime

We strive to maintain high platform availability. However, services may occasionally be unavailable due to planned maintenance, network failures, or software updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access and schedule standard maintenance windows during off-peak hours to minimize disruption.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Way2Better platform and all services, reports, and recommendations are provided on an **"as is"** and **"as available"** basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Way2Better Technologies Pvt Ltd be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform, assessments, or placement notifications.

14. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failures or delays in performance due to events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, internet service provider outages, power grid failures, strikes, or governmental mandates.

15. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updates will be posted on this page and marked with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after updates are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamilnadu.
